Regional visas will more than double to 25,000 places to promote regional Australia's growth.

The categories of Business Innovation and Investment (9,500 places), Global Talent (8,448 places), and Distinguished Talent (300 places) will guarantee that Australia remains a popular destination for the world's finest and brightest individuals and businesses.

Based on advice from the National Skills Commission, occupation listings will be reviewed and modified in early 2022-23 to reflect changes in Australia's labour market.
