"At the very beginning of our journey, my wife and I sent out tons of online enquires to all the agencies regarding a VISA application to Australia. I received many calls from other agents, however there was something that just never felt right. Don't get me wrong, they were very professional, but I am a person who believes in doing business with people that make me feel at ease.
 
I remember calling many other companies from around 15h00 and there was no answer. Eventually I got through to Jonathon at around 16h45. I was impressed as this was on a Friday afternoon. As soon as I mentioned my name, he immediately told me he was reading my online enquiry and was just about to call me. This was odd as no one places my name when I initially tell them, it usually takes about four or five interactions. From the very first phone call I knew this guy was going to be my agent. Deciding to immigrate to another country, away from family and friends, is a very hard and emotional decision. We had no idea where to begin. In addition, who do you trust. I got to know of New World Immigration (NWI) in 2014 when I was researching immigration service providers online. I then made contact with them and I told them my Visa requirements and they advised me on the most suitable Visa for my situation given my qualifications.

My husband and I joined NWI (as clients) earlier this year (January 2015), with the hope that they could help with my visa issue
which we had been battling with for almost two years.

John Arries became our Case worker in August 2015, after Megan Davis (our original case worker) resigned. At that time I was
back in Nigeria on a 5 years ban, having been unable to get a new visa before I travelled.

Herewith our commentary regarding the services received by yourself as well as overall impression of NWI.
My husband and I started with our migration process through NWI in early 2014. Our overall experience of the team Shelley, Jonathan and Sarah has been superb. Prompt email responses, knowledgeable and always willing to assist.

Mr Jonathan Pretorius then became our official case officer. His level of service far exceeded our expectations. I have recently applied for and received Temporary Residence in South Africa with the vivacious assistance of New World Immigration, particularly, Lee-Anne Pritchard. She was willing to assist in all areas of the process, searching for required lawyers and making appointments. Had I not had the assistance of Lee-Anne and NWI I would have been entirely overwhelmed by the amount of paperwork required as evidence and the process of application. As happy as I was with the service of NWI and Lee-Anne, I do feel it worth mentioning I was requested by the South African High Commission in Canberra, Australia to provide additional documentation for my application to be submitted.
- Time stamped photographs for the duration of my relationship (4 years)
- A copy of my partners visa for his time spent in Australia with me.
- Copies of our passport pages showing the correlating stamps for countries we had travelled in and out of together.
- Any further proof I could come up with: I chose to write a letter providing personal experiences of ours to show the authenticity of our relationship.

I understand entirely these things are not required to submit the application, I share this with you now assuming you may assist others in the future coming from Australia to South Africa and these documents would help ensure their visa.

It may also assist clients if they know that documents will need to be sent to and fro throughout the process, had I known this at the beginning I would have initiated certain processes earlier, this however was my ignorance and not the fault of Lee-Anne.

McDonald will be at ISSA on Sunday for his orientation and so forth.

This is a review of my Case Manager, Lize van Coeverden. She was the second Case Manager (CM) that was assigned to me, during the 8 month journey of obtaining my Critical Skills Visa. My previous CM was Daryn Paterson.

When the case was handed over to Lize, I was honestly a bit frustrated because my case was time sensitive. I felt the application process was a bit delayed while being handled with Daryn because he was often unreachable.

Despite the fact that Lize was handed a frustrated client (me), with a case that was more complicated than normal, I found Lize extremely pleasant, communicative, thorough and efficient. She is extremely knowledgable about the end to end process and was able to answer nearly all my enquiries instantly.

From the initial trade set skill assessment, the gathering of documents required and explaining every step of the way, we never felt like we didn't know what was being asked of us, or what happens next.

My life here in Namibia is really hectic but brilliant - I am enjoying my time at the Erindi Private Game Reserve and there is even a hope that I may be offered a job here when my Field Guide training placement finishes at the end of next month. I have been in and out of both Namibia and South Africa in the time since you helped me with my tourist visa / overstay ban appeal. As you suggested, I keep my overstay ban waiver letter with me every time I travel but I have not experienced any problems so that is great.

After my son waited for over 3 months for a reply from VFS regarding an application to extend his South African tourist visa with no success, I contacted NWI to see if they could help him. I got to know about NWI through a colleague who referred me. She had just used NWI to secure a Australian PR 189 visa. Having similar backgrounds and professions as my colleague gave me the confidence to use NWI to apply for an Australian PR.

Both of us agree that we have always found John easy to work with, he always responded promptly and courteously. It probably wasn’t easy for John to pick up our case as he took the lead after we had been refused first time around and Jo and I weren’t happy with how the first application had been handled. But John has always given us good advice even if we challenged some of the advice that John gave us at the time.

I can really tell you that i was happy to have John as a responsible person. Sometimes i wated a little bit long for his aswer but i think he was quiet busy at the time. Just a little note to the side. I think it was a little bit to short to send the letter to the home affairs office. I was sitting at home a little bit like i would sit on hot stones. If you know what i mean. So i never knew if we could make it on time with the letter or not. We just sendet it on the 16th of January. So no day longer time to think a little bit about it.

That´s the only thing i would change.

The quotations for the same visa type from three other immigration consultants exceeded NWI's by 300% and this made me sceptical about NWI's ability and whether they'd be able to obtain visas for us knowing that we only have five months before our window would expire.

Despite this, Olivia guided us through the process seamlessly, always providing much-needed assistance and guidance and ultimately managed to obtain our visas.

Do not use anyone else- you'd be wasting your money.
