Job Title: Project Manager – Facade Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a strong background in facade systems and metal design to lead the successful delivery of facade projects in Perth. This is a client-facing role where you will oversee site operations from handover to completion, ensuring that all works are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
You will manage a site team comprising multiple contractors, liaise closely with clients, and ensure that project goals and commercial targets are met. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, sound technical knowledge of facade systems, and a proven track record of managing large-scale facade projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of facade projects from handover to final completion.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and other key stakeholders.
- Manage all aspects of on-site delivery, including planning, coordination, and supervision of contractors.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
- Coordinate with the design and engineering teams to ensure facade details are delivered as per specifications.
- Monitor project programs, budgets, and quality, and implement corrective measures where needed.
- Conduct regular site inspections and meetings to ensure project progress aligns with expectations.
- Liaise with suppliers, subcontractors, and third-party service providers to manage material delivery schedules.
- Provide regular progress reports to the Operations Director and highlight any issues or risks.
- Drive a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement within the project team.
Key Requirements
- Proven experience in project management within the facade industry (commercial or large-scale residential preferred).
- Strong knowledge of metal design, facade systems, and installation methodologies.
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing facade or external envelope projects.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to manage and coordinate large teams of contractors on-site.
- High attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Sound understanding of construction programming, site logistics, and safety compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management tools.
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
